Contractor Job Costing App Lesson 3

After working on the application for several days now I have come to the decision that there needs to be two applications working together to have the app meet the extensive requirements. This lead me make a change in the look and functionality of the Contractor Job Costing App. One is the

1. Primary application which will contain the modules we already discussed.
2. Will be an app used on site for Quoting and lead tracking with Contact Management, Lead Scheduling,Job costing and expense reporting and finally with an automatic upload link to the parent office application.

I also decided to a make a Log-Iin screen for both Modules.

The above image is of the Log-In screen which will handle security, and a host of other feature that I want to review.

Let us start by looking at each object and explain how it works.

The Side bar has a clock and calendar which provides easy access to the menu system but is not accessible until the user logs in. The Calendar buttons tracks scheduled appointments and important task but they will receive the following error message if they did not log-In

Once Logged in they will see the two choices;

1. Open Office application
2. Open Field application

Now they click on the day button on the calendar to manage their appointments. Here is a short video of the process.

As you can see, the log in screen is simple to use and manage.As for the rest of the video you may have noticed the supercontrol showing the Activities rpt for the business. This will filter to the current month showing all appointments. Additional reports will be added so the user can quickly see the reports which help manage his business. The note organized drills down to the selected day on the calendar and the days which have appointments or reminders show up with red dates on the buttons. The menu button on the clock is a drop down menu which allows for easy navigation to all accessible features and makes for a simple way to keep various security levels set by user log-In authorization level.
